This cat knows exactly how to look good for the camera.
Emma Roberts, who is 45, sent her children to school on picture day.
When she got the pictures, she was hoping that they would be cute pictures of her kids. She was surprised to get another funny picture, though.
She also took a picture of her two daughters and their four-year-old cat, Ziggy, who likes to explore.
It was one of the funniest things she had ever heard, and when she heard about the cat’s tricks, she couldn’t stop laughing.
Megan, who is 10, and Chloe, who is 7, both go to Drury Primary School in Flintshire, which is in North Wales.
On picture day, Ziggy decided to follow his sisters to school while they were going to class.
When it came time to take the pictures, the cat was also asked to pose for the camera, and he was definitely ready.
It turned out that the cat was known to walk around the school grounds often.
He liked to follow Megan and Chloes around and stayed near the school all day.
Emma didn’t think, though, that the cat would become a part of the school and even get his own picture.
When young Chloe handed her the letter, she expected to find the girl’s photos but found Ziggy’s printed images instead. Chloe handed the letter to me and I expected it to be her photos. But then when I looked I was just in floods of laughter and so were the other mums standing by me,
the woman shared.
Emma asked her daughter what happened at school that day because her daughter had been laughing so much and had tears in her eyes.
I asked her what had gone on and she said he just jumped on the chair. He didn’t need any encouragement, he just got up there for a photo. The school has just accepted him and he goes there at any opportunity. He’s there every day. He sleeps on the headmaster’s desk, on piles of books and he goes into every classroom…The kids see him at school and as soon as you go to pick them up you can hear kids talking about him,
Emma added.
Even the headmaster had no problem with the cat being a student.
Some of the kids have been able to handle things better at school because Ziggy is there, especially those who don’t have pets at home.
Ziggy’s constant presence at the school has, in a way, been a part of the kids’ lives there.
