People on social media are upset because Chris Brown seemed to congratulate Rihanna on her Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show, where she announced she was pregnant.
On Sunday night (February 12), the 34-year-old music star, Rihanna, was the main act at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, and fans immediately started wondering if she was pregnant.
The singer from Barbados sang a medley of her biggest hits, such as “Where Have You Been,” “Rude Boy,” and “Diamonds.” She opened the show with her famous “B***h Better Have My Money.”
The founder of Fenty Beauty wore a PVC bustier and a bright red jumpsuit without a zipper, which showed off her baby bump. Her rep confirmed that she is expecting her second child with A$AP Rocky after she was seen cradling and stroking her stomach during her performance.
Before the “Only Girl in the World” singer went on stage, her 33-year-old ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, who she was with over a decade ago, posted to his Instagram Stories to show his support for her.
The “Under the Influence” singer wrote “GO GIRL” with a red heart and praying-hands emojis right after Rihanna sang a medley of her hits from the past 20 years and said she is expecting her second child.

A fourth user remarked:
Chris Brown posting a story saying ‘Go girl’ during Rihanna’s halftime show is one of the grossest things I’ve ever seen.
This is not the first time Chris Brown has spoken out in favor of the singer of “Love on the Brain.” Last May, when Rihanna and her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, had their first child, a boy, Chris Brown seemed to congratulate them.
He put “Congratulations” and emojis of a red heart, a pregnant woman, and praying hands on his Instagram Story.
Fans are criticizing the “Loyal” singer, though, because it came out that Chris Brown had hit Rihanna before the 2009 Grammys when they were dating in 2007 and then broke up two years later.
Chris Brown admitted to being guilty of felony assault and was put on probation for five years. Then, in 2012, they got back together and dated for another year or so before breaking up for good.
In an interview with Rolling Stone in 2013, Rihanna said that the short reconciliation was a “mistake.”
I decided it was more important for me to be happy.
I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. […] After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth,
she added.
Chris Brown said in his 2017 documentary, Welcome to My Life, that the “What’s My Name” singer “didn’t trust” him after the attack and that they would “fight each other,” according to a source.
Now, the singer of “Kiss Kiss” has moved on and started his own family. He has three children with three different women: Royalty, who is eight; Aeko, who is three; and Lovely, who is one.
