Diana “Coconut Kitty” Deets, who was famous on Instagram and modeled for OnlyFans, killed herself, according to a post on her social media pages.
Deets started her social media account in 2015, but her exact age is still unknown. For years, she said she was 24, which a source says is a number she often used.
The social media star ended up getting 5.4 million followers on Instagram, which is thought to have given her a net worth of about $450,000.
Sad to say, Deets had problems with her mental health, and a source says that the backlash she got because of her job made her depressed.
A long statement on her Instagram account confirms that the star killed herself on February 12.
It read:
Last Sunday, Coconut took her own life. It’s unfair. Life isn’t fair. We wish you guys could get to know her the way her friends and family did. She was such a light to this world, truly, she was always glowing.
You could never slow that girl down. She was so hard headed and strong, but also just so kind. With the biggest heart we have ever known. She was always trying to lift everyone up around her, she wanted everyone to win.
The post went on to describe Deets’ real personality, saying that she was creative, funny, and full of life. The heartbreaking statement also said that her loved ones wished they “could have taken some of the darkness that was weighing on her heart.”
Above all she loved her kids and being a mom. Her kids were her whole world. She was devoted to them and she wanted to make sure that they were loved. And they were so loved,
the post continued.
In the end, it told Deets’s fans to check on their loved ones and enjoy the time they spend with them.
You never know how much time you’ll have left with the people you love.
During her life, the OnlyFans model was criticized for her heavily edited photos that were seen as “bait” for pedophiles. However, in an interview with Rolling Stone in 2021, she explained why she did what she did.
She made up a “character” to separate herself from her work because people would often say hurtful things about her body.
Deets told her that if she changed her pictures, the mean comments wouldn’t hurt her as much because they wouldn’t be about who she really was.
I wanted to make something that looked like a real-life anime character — small chin, big eyes — that was made in my likeness, because I use a picture of myself and I edit it,
she told the outlet.
I just wanted to create a fantasy, just a character. And I was able to hide my identity and still make money off my art. Coconut Kitty gave me an opportunity to disassociate myself.
Deets was also a good artist who sold her work to people who followed her.
At this time, our thoughts are with her friends, family, and fans.
