While there are only 3 months until 2024, there’s still a lot to look forward to. Netflix Originals is coming up with a whole new line-up of compelling movies in November 2023 and we can’t hold our excitement. All you movie buffs are in for a treat with Netflix releasing some great projects in the coming months.
14 Netflix Originals To Stream In November 2023
1. All The Light We Cannot See (2nd November)
First on our Netflix Originals list is the limited drama series, created by Steven Knight and produced by Shawn Levy, which is based on a bestselling book of the same name. Aria Mia Loberti stars with Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Laurie as co-stars, and it follows the story of young Marie-Laure, who is visually impaired, as she navigates her way through World War II in occupied France and meets a German soldier.
2. Nyad (3rd November)
Netflix’s Nyad has been one of their most talked about biopics as of late. Annette Bening, Jodie Foster, and Rhys Ifans star in this movie that follows Diana Nyad’s journey at 60 when she attempted to swim between Cuba and Florida. This Netflix Original will also be available in select theaters starting at the end of October for those who enjoy the silver screen experience.
3. Sly (3rd November)
Following the success of the documentary on Arnold Schwarzenegger, Netflix Originals turns the spotlight on Sylvester Stallone with a new documentary examining his extensive and varied career. The documentary will be available to stream from November 3, 2023.
4. Football Manager 2024 Mobile (6th November)
Football Manager 2024 Mobile, the latest version of SEGA’s mobile sports-management game, is available exclusively on Netflix Games.
5. The Killer (10th November)
The Killer is based on Alexis Nolent’s acclaimed graphic novel series of the same name. This much anticipated new movie was created by the Oscar-winning director David Fincher. He is widely known for his work on another beloved Netlfix Originals show, Mindhunter. The new movie features an impressive cast, including Michael Fassbender, Charles Parnell, Arliss Howard, Sophie Charlotte, and Tilda Swinton.
6. Stamped From The Beginning (15th November)
The official synopsis of this Netflix Originals reads as follows:
“Oscar-winning director Roger Ross Williams brings Dr. Ibram X. Kendi’s best-selling book Stamped From the Beginning to life, using vivid animations and leading female scholars to explore the history of anti-Black racist ideas.”
7. Best. Christmas. Ever! (16th November)
For the upcoming holiday season, Netflix is releasing the live-action romantic comedy Best. Christmas. Ever! in 2023.
8. Rustin (17th November)
Netflix is looking ahead to 2023 and one of the Netflix Originals could be an Oscar contender. Rustin is a film depicting the life and accomplishments of the gay civil rights leader Bayard Rustin, including organizing the 1963 March on Washington.
The cast of this project is headed up by Colman Domingo and includes Chris Rock, Glynn Turman, Audra McDonald, Aml Ameen, Gus Halper, Johnny Ramey, CCH Pounder, Michael Potts, Carra Patterson, Adrienne Warren, Bill Irwin, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. The movie will also have a limited theatrical release.
9. Scott Pilgrim Takes Off (17th November)
This brand new anime series from the Universal studio that produced Devilman Crybaby takes its inspiration from the successful Edgar Wright movies. It tells the story of Scott Pilgrim who falls for the girl of his dreams, only to find out that he must defeat her seven wicked former partners in order to date her.
10. The Dads (20th November)
This Luchina Fisher documentary is set to hit Netflix on November 20, 2023. In this succinct documentary, five unique fathers share their affections, aspirations, and anxieties for their transgender children while on a fishing trip with Matthew Shepard’s dad.
11. Leo (21st November)
Adam Sandler will star in a new animated movie entitled Leo, which is scheduled to be released exclusively as a Netflix Originals in 2023. His co-stars in the film include Bill Burr, Cecily Strong, Jason Alexander, Rob Schneider, and his wife Jackie Sandler. Leo will depict Adam as a class pet lizard.
12. Squid Games: The Challenge (22nd November)
The much-awaited contentious reality competition series inspired by the K-drama sensation is scheduled to hit Netflix in the middle of November. The contestants will face off with each other in a series of challenges similar to those in the Squid Games season 1.
The release date for this Netflix Originals series is likely to change.
13. Family Switch (30th November)
At the end of the month, a highly-anticipated family comedy featuring Jennifer Garner, Ed Helms, Brady Noon, and Emma Myers of the hit show Wednesday will be released. Directed by the renowned McG, this movie is based on Amy Krouse Rosenthal’s book and was formerly known as Family Leave.
14. Obliterated (30th November)
Produced by the same team that brought us Netflix Originals hit series Cobra Kai, comes a new action-comedy set in the glitzy city of Las Vegas. The 8-episode series follows a special forces team as they attempt to prevent a potentially catastrophic event from occurring. The cast includes Shelley Hennig, Nick Zano, C. Thomas Howell, Kimi Rutledge, Paola Lázaro, Terrence Terrell, and Alyson Gorske.
