Yes, you heard it right, a $2500 meal bill from a Disney World restaurant stuns everyone. Blogger Bethany Vinton, who loves food, decided to try Victoria & Albert’s, the priciest restaurant at Disney World. The Oregonian posted a viral video on TikTok detailing her delicious experience, revealing that she had spent hundreds of dollars in a single evening. Disney parks are well-known for their charm, but they are also notorious for being expensive.
People who are 10 years of age and older can expect to pay an eye-watering $519 for a seven-day ticket that only grants them entry to the park; therefore, it is understandable that they might wish to be a little more economical when it comes to their dining expenses at Disney World.
Vinton went to an amusement park in Orlando with her three friends, where they spent a lot of money on booze and food. The Disney enthusiast’s video, in which she showcased the various meals she tried, has received over a million views.
$2500 Meal Bill From Disney World Restaurant
In September, Bethany Vinton, who runs a TikTok page where she reviews Disney Parks cuisine, visited Victoria & Albert’s, a posh restaurant in Disney World Florida.
In the video, Bethany clarified that after being seated at your table, you have a choice between the chef’s menu and the dining room menu.
The chef’s menu is an enormous nine-course meal that will cost you $375 per person, while the dining room menu offers seven courses for $295 per person. For their opulent dinner out, Bethany was joined by three more people, all of whom chose to order from the chef’s menu.
However, Bethany and her friends also decided to partake in the wine pairing, which costs $200 per person for eight pours of wine with the menu they selected, despite the high cost of the meal they were already spending. The alternative menu’s wine pairing is $50 less expensive. The four of them spent a total of $1500 on wine, $1500 on dinner, and $149.50 on taxes, totaling $2,449.50 (before tip).
“Obviously this is a huge splurge, but it has always been on my Disney bucket list,” Bethany explained. “When I started my Disney food and drink podcast last year, The Main Street Dish, this restaurant was our ultimate goal and we were so excited to finally check this off the bucket list.”
Bethany revealed that she and her friends made the most of the experience, staying at the restaurant for four hours. It used to cost more to enter the most magical and happy locations on Earth.
Reactions On $2500 Meal Bill At Disney World Restaurant
Her sharing the cost of their opulent dinner has left some TikTokers in disbelief.
“That’s 6 months of my rent,” one person said of their hefty bill.
“That’s literally like a whole month of bills including rent for me,” echoed another.
People also questioned if the money was worth it which, in a separate video where she reviewed her meal, Bethany said was ‘well worth the price’.
“Omg! That’s my mortgage, all utilities, car payment and some groceries,” a fan joked.
“Way overpriced,” someone else rolled their eyes. “Rich people be crazy lmao.”
She informed her followers that although the dinner was a “huge splurge,” she was glad she could finally cross something off her “bucket list.”
A Disney spokesperson said in a statement: “We are constantly adding new, innovative attractions and entertainment to our parks, and, with our broad array of pricing options, the value of a theme park visit is reflected in the unique experiences that only Disney can offer.”
