Philadelphia Sixers’ James Harden has requested a trade this offseason. A few days after Damian Lillard of the Portland Blazers asked for a trade to the Miami Heat, Harden showed interest in playing somewhere else. The 33-year-old has told the Sixers that he wants a move to the Los Angeles Clippers.
It’s pretty obvious that a player would ask for a trade to a team of his own preference, but the current team needs to look at the package they are being offered. But the Clippers do not have what the Sixers expect for their veteran, and it’s possible that he will be traded to some other team than the Clippers. Here is all the information you need about Harden’s situation with the Sixers and three teams where the Sixers might send him!
James Harden to the Toronto Raptors?
Fred VanVleet has departed from the Raptors and will play for the Rockets now. The Raptors tried to fix this by getting Dennis Schroeder, but he is not as good as him, so the need for a point guard is still there. The Raptors are inclined towards a rebuilding phase and if it so they would not like to sign Harden but it is a huge possibility that they will try to sign Harden as their point guard.
Damian Lillard has demanded a trade ONLY to the Heat.

James Harden to the Boston Celtics?
The Celtics need a fix when it comes to ball handling, James Harden is one of the finest ball handlers. They do need a point guard, but the role Harden usually has and would expect to be given here as well might not be given. It’d be strange to see Harden in the Celtics jersey, but if they want to build their team around James, the fans will love it.

James Harden to the Phoenix Suns?
Devin Booker and Bradley Beal have already arrived at the Phoenix Suns, so it is not a necessity or urgency for them to sign James. The Suns can arrange the package required for James, but a third team would be needed in the trade, considering how messed up the situation is.
