BJ Penn, TJ Dillashaw, and Conor McGregor are all set to make their return to the UFC soon. The company has never really had a shortage of stars as new names keep making an impact every now and then – but three names from the past making a return are indeed something to look forward to. McGregor’s return has the most impact among these three. Let us take a closer look at these returns:
BJ Penn
Penn, who is a former two-division champ, has not managed to score a win since 2010. However, this has not demotivated him from fighting and he will soon be making his UFC comeback in 2019. Penn’s return was confirmed by UFC President Dana White. Upon return, Penn will be facing Nick Lentz.

TJ Dillashaw
Dillashaw has been talking about his return on social media. The former Bantamweight Champion has been recovering from shoulder injuries and is expected to get back to training soon. As of now there’s no date but Dillashaw will indeed be back soon!
Can’t wait to have healthy shoulders and get back on that grind with my team. It is a promise that I will be better than ever when I make my return. Thank you for sticking with me 🙏 https://t.co/slFMsgC3YD

Conor McGregor
Conor McGregor is a different case! His return has been talked about a lot. He has been away from the UFC since his UFC 229 bout against Khabib Nurmagomedov. He had since claimed to be ‘retired’ from the sport but is now eager to be back in action. As per Dana White, McGregor would be back by the end of 2019.
Some people even expect Conor McGregor to make a return around the time Khabib vs Poirier happens in UFC 242. It will be interesting to see when McGregor is back and who he chooses to face.
