The not so interesting game between the Red Sox and Dodgers took an interesting turn when a group of fans sitting in the upper deck unrolled a banner. The banner read
“TRANS PEOPLE DESERVE TO LIVE.”

This happened during the fifth inning on Game 5 of the World Series. That was a pretty big signboard and God knows how they made that pass the security. It was later revealed that this banner was the courtesy of TransLatin@ Coalition.

TransLatin@ Coalition is a nationally known organization which look into the needs of the Trans Latin people residing in the States. This signboard was a direct attack on the latest anti-LGBTQ by the Trump administration. This policy aims at classifying gender as either “female, male, unchangeable, or determined through the genitals of the person born with”.
As expected, the banner quickly caught the eye of the officials and was immediately taken down.
