The Kardashian family is well-known for living a very luxurious life. Everything the family does has to go exactly as planned, from throwing fancy parties to running companies worth millions or even billions of dollars.
The sisters have way too much going on in their lives to be responsible for making dinner every night, so they hired a team of personal chefs to make sure they are always well-fed.
Reports say that the chefs who work for the Kardashians have to follow the following eight rules.
The family insists on cooking that is “clean and healthy.”
There is no doubt that the Kardashian-Jenner family has a strict diet. In an interview with HollywoodLife in 2019, chef Sara Motamedi said that cooking for the family isn’t as simple as it seems.
In 2018, after Kim and Kylie had their first child, Motamedi started working with the famous family and quickly learned about their unique tastes.
“They’re not picky eaters. Some of the kids are picky with maybe fish or chicken, but they eat everything. Everybody pretty much eats everything,” she said.
“Nothing is really banned, unless they’re allergic to it. But they like clean, healthy cooking. They all eat everything as long as it’s clean, organic. They all love organic food.”
Motamedi has been a part of the Kardashian-Jenner family ever since she gave Kris Jenner a batch of homemade cinnamon rolls and asked to work for the clan.
The rest was history.
They are also expected to cook for guests.
The family’s chefs are in charge of making meals not only for the family members but also for the many guests that the family often has over.
It’s good that both of their kitchens have everything they need to serve a lot of people.
Martyn Lawrence Bullard, the interior designer who worked on Kylie Jenner’s house, recently talked to People magazine about how he came up with the idea for the huge kitchen.
“She has quite a lot of dinners. When you’re that famous, it’s hard to go out casually so she tends to entertain a lot at home. So, we made a really fun dining room for her and then really important was the family room that attaches to the kitchen,” Bullard explained.
In the family room, there are “big custom coffee tables with ice trays in the middle” where champagne and small snacks can be served.
Because they spend so much time eating, the chef needs to make sure that everyone is happy.
There are no nuts in the house where Kylie Jenner grew up.
Kylie Jenner told Harper’s Bazaar in an exclusive interview in the year 2020 that her daughter Stormi has an allergy to peanuts.
“We are a peanut-free household because Stormi is allergic. All nuts actually, not just peanuts,” Jenner clarified in the interview.
This means that any chef who comes to cook for the clan needs to know about the food allergies of the members and follow the strict rules that have been set up to protect them.
They are required to have a strong experience beforehand.
Working for the family isn’t something that just anyone can do. If you want to work for them, you need to have done a lot of work before.
Take the well-known chef Kristianne Uy, who goes by the name Chef K.
Chef K has worked for a number of famous people and catered private events over the course of her career, even though she has been working for the family for a while now.
The Irish Times says that Charlize Theron, James Cameron, Ryan Seacrest, Sean Combs, and Charlie Sheen are among the famous people who have been linked to this.
When Sheen was asked about her skills, she said, “Early on in our time together, I dared her to perfectly duplicate what I considered to be the greatest cheeseburger on planet Earth, the Five Guys – double bacon.”
“Less than 24 hours later, she served me one. I took one bite and never went to Five Guys again.”
They have to eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables every day.
In the interview with BAZAAR that we just talked about, Jenner said that she likes to keep pre-sliced apples by her bed so she can eat them when she gets hungry at night.
“I avoid late-night cravings because I lock myself in my bedroom and I turn on my TV, I get real comfortable, and I pre-slice an apple by my bed,” Jenner said.
She also said that she likes to start her day with a glass of celery juice, saying, “I have a whole drawer in my refrigerator of just raw celery.”
So that the chefs can meet Jenner’s needs, they will need to get more fruits and vegetables.
Don’t let them gain weight!
When you cook for the whole family, you need to make sure that everyone is happy with the food. But sometimes Chef K overstates how good her food is.
In a June episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim Kardashian was upset that Chef K didn’t listen to her clear instructions not to put her delicious cookies in the dish.
“Did I not say no to these cookies? They have to be taken away, I gained 15 pounds like this is a joke,” Kim says in the clip.
