Alyssa Milano Requests Donations Worth $10,000 on GoFundMe To Fund Her Son’s Cross Country Basket Ball Trip!
On January 26, 2024, Alyssa Milano took to Twitter to raise a fund of $10,000 to fund her son’s baseball team’s trip to Cooperstown, New York, for the Little League World Series.
It is worth mentioning that the actress from “Who’s The Boss” is worth $10 million and has her side projects going on, where she single-handedly produces and acts in several series.
However, this is not the first time Alyssa is raising funds. Known as a social worker, Milano raised over $50,000 for an AIDS relief program in South Africa in 2004. She also raised about $75,000 for a non-profit group called Charity: Water.
However, this time, the scenario is different for Alyssa Milano, as fans are trolling her for creating an entire GoFundMe account to fund her son’s trip to New York.
Milano and her spouse, David Bugliari, are under fire for “asking” for money from her fans even after having a net worth of $10 million, as per Celebrity Net Worth.
The Cooperstown Dreams Park Tournament will be held from July 25 to July 31, 2024. The charge for each player is $1,275, making it too expensive for many youth organizations across America.

Alyssa Milano’s Justification For Her Fund Raising Program To Fund Her Son’s Dream
Amidst all these controversy, Alyssa Milano came up with her justification for raising the funds for the trip to Cooperstown, New York.
So far, $9021 has been raised from 307 donations, and Milano has thanked everyone who assisted her throughout this journey.
Milano stressed that the donations would pay the entire team’s travel expenses, uniforms, and novelty items. Alyssa Milano further clarified that the money raised has been used for throwing birthday parties and sponsoring kids who cannot afford monthly dues.
I’m getting media inquiries about whether I have financially contributed to my son’s baseball team. I’ve paid for uniforms for the entire team and coaches, thrown bday parties and sponsor any kid who can’t afford monthly dues. The kids also do fundraising themselves—car washes, movie nights, and many other fun things! Thank you to all who have contributed to the gofundme! You’ve made things easier for these boys and their families.”
Final Thoughts:
Alyssa Milano is well-known for her charity activities, and her admirers have consistently been supportive. However, this time, the same fans are skeptical of her choices since this cause includes the personal satisfaction of a baseball team that also includes her son.
Fans believe she should not have asked her supporters for donations to pay for her son’s trip to New York, whatsoever, despite Alyssa’s claims that it isn’t only about her son. Such actions could damage her philanthropic reputation, which she has worked hard to build over the years.
