Adam Sandler is coming back to 30 Rock as a host of Saturday Night Live for the first time ever.
The veteran comedian has been a part of the show for five seasons from 1990-1995. He has portrayed several iconic characters including Cajun Man and Opera Man. Not to forget the sporadic cameos he made following that. However, he never hosted any episode.
In an interview, Sandler told former SNL colleague Norm Macdonald,
Why should I? There are guys who love doing it, who are great at doing it. I just don’t know how good I’d be doing it. I did what I could do on that show.
Now, Sandler seems to have a change of heart. He confirmed that he will host the episode of SNL alongside Shawn Mendes, the musical guest on the show. Sandler is going for his “100% Fresher” stand-up comedy tour during this summer. Go ahead and book your tickets. you wouldn’t want to miss the chance.
