The fact that CM Punk was the biggest name since Austin when it comes to the world of wrestling is undisputed. While Cena might have carried the WWE for a good ten-twelve years, Punk’s 434 days as a champion were a turning point in the company’s history. Following his WWE departure, Punk now has his sight set on All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
The fact that Punk is appearing on AEW’s Starrcast event, giving an interview on a stage is a big sign that Punk is moving towards joining the WWE rival.
CM Punk Appearing on AEW All Out
There is a Twitter battle going on between CM Punk and Cody Rhodes. Punk has alleged that Cody texted him over an AEW contract and he did not find it professional enough. Cody, on his part, has said that this was not the case and that Punk might go ahead and join the WWE.
There is now a chance that after Cody’s match with Shawn Spears, Punk might just attack him and make his official return to in-ring action! Fans have already been abuzz and excited about Punk’s return to the ring.
