YouTuber Jake Paul is set to face UFC veteran Nate Diaz in a grudge match on August 5, 2023. While Jake has been winning his boxing fights left and right, Diaz is certainly going to give him a challenge to beat. Diaz boasts a 22-13 professional record during his 15 years fighting as a UFC fighter.

With fight night getting closer, fans are getting more and more excited to see the face-off between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz. Diaz recently took to his Instagram account to share a glimpse of his training camp and a poster of the fight. The caption read-

However, Jake Paul spared no time in attacking Diaz for not respecting the promotional efforts. He also lashed back at Diaz for not considering the guidance and opportunities Jake had offered him. He wrote-
“You had my respect for your legacy until you started treating this promotion without respect. I made you my partner, gave you the blueprint to running your own events and you have done nothing but be the same Nate Diaz that worked for the bald man [Dana White]…instead of being your own man. UFC Legend Don Byre Shows Support for Nate Diaz
The legendary UFC fighter, Don Byre has also been vocal about supporting Nate Diaz. Byre had no doubts that Diaz will successfully knock out Jake Paul in the fight. In an interview with Inside Fighting, Byre spoke how his technique and knowledge will help him win the battle scheduled on August 5, 2023
“Nate is going to whoop him, I mean Nate has got the condition, you can’t help it. He has got the technique and knowledge, there is no scaring him.”
Fyre also named both Nate Diaz and his brother Nick Diaz in his top five toughest fighters list.
The fight between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz is set to take place on August 5, 2023, at the American Dallas Center in Dallas, Texas. It will be a 10 round fight which will be available for broadcasting at DAZN pay-per-view. If Jake wins this fight, he has expressed to talkSPORT’s Micheal Benson that he will want to fight Conor McGregor next.
“When I knock out Nate Diaz, I think Conor McGregor’s gonna see me, want a payday, and come and get knocked out. I told everybody that I would fight Conor in any form of fight because he, in my opinion, is that shot. I’ll do MMA, I’m not afraid.”
