Takis Shelter was created in 2014 in order to help the stray dogs of town, Ierapetra on the island of Crete in Greece. Since then the shelter has grown and become the reason of Taki’s existence. The shelter is now home to more than 400 dogs, 30+ cats, 10 goats and three sheep. With your help Taki tries to help every creature he can and also change the way people think of animals.
Here in this video you can see one of the most beautiful dog rescues ever. This dog was mistreated by its previous owners and had a hard time trusting humans. Look at how its heart melts when he is hugged. Scroll down to watch.
