In order to boycott the NFL players who are protesting the national anthem, an Alabama based grocery store has declared that they have decided not to sell Pepsi products bearing the NFL logo
The S&Z Grocery Store in Athens, Alabama, announced on Wednesday that they have decided to boycott Pepsi products until they remove the NFL logo in their product.
The owner of the store, Phillip Stewart, told WAFF that he personally made sure to remove the bottles from the shelves of his store.
He said, he did not want to support them in any way and he feels it’s very wrong to sell a product that has the NFL logo on it.
This reaction comes as the result of many NFL players kneeling during the national anthem. This stunt was first pulled out in the 2016 football season to protest against police brutality by the former NFL San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick .
