James Cameron confirms Sequel
Alita: Battle Angel has ended his theatrical run while collecting more than $400 million worldwide. While the movie could have performed better if it had better marketing, it generated enough for a sequel.
Producer James Cameron and director Robert Rodriguez have already shared details about the Alita: Battle Angel 2 script. The sequel will pick up from where the first movie left and explore more of Zalem and feature new characters.

We might not have a fixed release date for Alita: Battle Angel 2 because of James Cameron and Avatar sequel delay. Also, the Disney Fox merger can move the schedule up or down based on how the new team handles it. All we know for sure is that Alita: Battle Angel will get many more sequels. The digital release date for the first film is set on July 9, followed by a physical copy release date of July 23 for Blu-Ray, DVD and 4K UHD. Alita: Battle Angel will be available for purchase on iTunes and Amazon Prime Video in the US region and the rest of the world.
