She was known for being bold and confident in a field mostly dominated by men. She represented famous actors like Barbra Streisand, Candice Bergen, Peter Bogdanovich, Joan Collins, Brian De Palma, Faye Dunaway, and Tuesday Weld. Jennifer Lawrence will not only act in the movie but also help produce it.
2. Die, My Love (TBA)
“Die, My Love” is a funny and serious movie based on a book by Ariana Harwicz. It’s about a woman who lives in the countryside in France. She has problems with her family and her mind. She wants to be free and have a normal family, but sometimes she wants to burn her house down. Jennifer Lawrence might be the main character in the movie, and Lynne Ramsay is going to direct it
3. Mob Girl (TBA)
This movie called ‘Mob Girl’ is based on a true crime story from 1992. It’s about a woman who used to be the girlfriend of a mobster. She gets involved in criminal activities herself and eventually starts helping the police by giving them information about the mob. Jennifer Lawrence is going to be in the movie, and she’s also helping make it. They started working on this movie in July 2019, and it’s still in progress.
4. Zelda (TBA)
Jennifer Lawrence is going to act as Zelda Fitzgerald in a movie called ‘Zelda.’ The movie is about the life of Zelda, who was the wife of a famous writer named F. Scott Fitzgerald during the Jazz Age. In this movie, Jennifer will be the main character, and we’ll learn about her life, not just as her husband’s inspiration, but also as a writer herself. They announced this movie about seven years ago in October 2016, and we hope to hear more about it soon.
5. Burial Rites (TBA)
“Burial Rites” is a movie based on a book from 2013. It’s about a woman named Agnes who was accused of killing two men and burning their house in 1829. She was the last woman to be executed in public in Iceland. Luca Guadagnino is directing the movie, and Jennifer Lawrence is playing Agnes. The story is about Agnes waiting to find out if she’ll be sentenced to death and her relationships with other people during that time. Jennifer is also helping to make the movie as a producer.
6. Untitled Jennifer Lawrence/Amy Schumer Project (TBA)
In January 2016, Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer said they finished writing a funny movie together. Jennifer told BBC Radio 6 Music, “That is done. We have finished writing it. We have an official first draft. I am going to try and fit that somewhere into my ghoulish schedule. We’re going to try to do that pretty soon.” They didn’t share many details, but we know they’ll both act as sisters. Amy will be the responsible sister, and Jennifer will be the messy one.
In June 2023, Jennifer was asked by a fan on Bravo’s ‘Watch What Happens Live’ about the project’s progress. It had been more than seven years since the project started. She revealed, “OK, if you know anything about me and Amy, it’s that we are lazy,” Lawrence quipped on WWHL. “It’s not that it’s off — it’s on. It’s just going at our pace.”
