Alyssa Milano said that she turned over the keys to her Tesla to Elon Musk after he took over Twitter.
Musk, who is 51 years old, was finally able to buy Twitter after a process that began in April of this year and cost a total of $44 billion.
As was already known, after being named “Chief Twit” on October 27, the billionaire made some big changes right away. For example, he stopped letting people work from home and set up an “extremely hardcore” workplace.
Because of this, many famous people, like Ryan Reynolds, Whoopi Goldberg, and Toni Braxton, eventually deleted their accounts on the app.

Now, Milano, who is best known for playing Phoebe Halliwell on the popular TV show Charmed, has taken to Twitter to say that she has given back her Tesla and bought a Volkswagen instead.
I gave back my Tesla. I bought the VW ev. I love it. I’m not sure how advertisers can buy space on Twitter. Publicly traded company’s products being pushed in alignment with hate and white supremacy doesn’t seem to be a winning business model,
the 49-year-old tweeted.

At first, some Twitter users didn’t like the tweet. Some of them said that Volkswagen was “literally founded” by the Nazis.
Elon Musk replied to the post on his own Twitter account with an emoticon showing laughing and the number 100.
Volkswagen was literally founded by the Nazi’s and Hitler. 🤡

A source says that Volkswagen was started in Germany in 1937 when Adolf Hitler’s Nazi party was in power. Hitler was a supporter of the company.
But later, Milano went on The View and talked about why she tweeted what she did. She said that Musk could have done something better with the $44 billion he spent to buy Twitter. She said that Musk could have built a solar farm with the money.
You buy Twitter to destroy it … Imagine if he donated that money to UNICEF.
He would change the world. There would be no hunger!

A lot of people on the platform agreed with Milano’s choice, and at least one person tweeted their support for her:
Excellent move, Shero! I’ve only owned VW’s for the last 23 years, currently rocking a Jetta and we’re not required to bail out Elon’s bad investment in any way or tolerate hate speech.

I did exactly this when Musk brought workers back during the pandemic and started playing footsie with Ivanka. Finally got the [Volkswagen] ID4. Love it. I’m driving a battery powered car made by a car company, not a car built by a carbon credit factory that feels like a dumb red hat,

Other users said that Milano was “virtue signaling,” which is when someone says something moral in public to show that they have good character. In this case, Milano was accused of making a moral statement in public. In a nutshell, the phrase refers to the actions of people who make a point of letting others know about the important causes they support only to make it more likely that others will think highly of them as moral people.
In response to Elon Musk’s response to the tweet about Hitler, someone wrote the following:
Slam dunk. Thank goodness for Hollywood for giving us so many virtue signalling celebrities. They never fail to deliver.

She gave up her Tesla but just couldn’t give up Twitter,

It looks like the controversy over Musk’s plans to take over Twitter is not going away any time soon.
