Amber Heard appears to have located a haven of safety.
Heard is currently in Spain, far from the locations where she was defeated in a lawsuit against Johnny Depp and in the eyes of the public.
Heard and her 1-year-old daughter Oonagh Paige Heard is reportedly in Palma de Mallorca, where Heard is reportedly coping with her emotions. They are staying with Bianca Butti, a close friend who works in Hollywood as a writer, producer, cinematographer, and occasionally, director.
Heard has avoided the spotlight for the entire three months since the trial’s conclusion, in contrast to Depp, who has appeared to be everywhere since winning the defamation lawsuit.
Despite the fact that she is appealing the decision, she currently owes $8.3 million as a result of the verdict. The outcome of that appeal is still very uncertain.
Heard’s request for the verdict to be set aside due to a mistrial was already turned down by one judge. On July 1, that motion was submitted. It claimed that differences between the member of the jury who was summoned and the jury members who actually participated in the trial were sufficient to reverse the decision.
It doesn’t seem like the actress has any new projects in the works given that she’s hiding out in Spain. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and In the Fire, where she last appeared on screen, are already in the post-production process.
