After the leaking which continued for several months, the search giant Google unveiled its next Google Pixel segments, Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL earlier this week. After the announcements, both the handsets went on pre-order. Many websites asked the typical android users if they are willing to purchase the stock Android smartphones or they opt for something else.
Google kicked off the trend around two years old with the 1st generation of Pixel that was released with a large as well as a smaller variant. Both of these variants do not have any specific difference other than the size of the battery and the screen size. The trend is still alive with Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.
Both the variants of the Pixel are flagship phones, and they are quite identical to each other in every way such as glass back as well as wireless charging. The only significant difference between the two phones is the presence of the notch in the larger variant which isn’t present in the smaller variant.
Most of the android users weren’t the fans of Pixel 3XL’s notch. Across the three polls which has been conducted by Android Authority, the majority of the voters have stated that they are not willing to buy the Pixel 3 XL with a notch or the no-notch Pixel 3. The average of 65% of people indicated that they are not planning to buy either of these Google smartphones. On the other hand, 12 percent people have voted to go for Pixel 3XL while 16 percent of people showed their interest to grab the small Pixel 3.
Most of the backlash for Google’s premium handset is based on the Hardware which was used by Google to sport in these two phones. And most of the reviews are based on the phone’s display notch while some have stated that the phone has a hefty price tag along with an outdated design.
