We have seen Anthony Davis missing games due to injury many times, and it happened once again in the ongoing season as he missed out on the Lakers vs Houston match on 9th November due to hip spasms. Davis never played all games in an NBA season due to the injury. Last season, Davis missed out on nearly 30 games. It is a matter of concern for the Lakers since they are struggling to find the right start in the league. The team doesn’t seem to be at its best since a lot of players are going through injuries like Rui Hachimura, Gabe Vincent, and Jarred Vanderbilt.
Anthony Davis’ injury scare
Anthony got a hip injury during their game against the Miami Heat and spent some time on the court with the injury, but he had to leave the court after halftime. Anthony was on to a good start this season; seeing him injured is heartbreaking for the Lakers fans. Davis is averaging 23.9 points and 12.0 rebounds this season.
Laker’s poor start
Due to injury, the team is suffering a lot and now they need to figure things out. They lost the initial games, and multiple players are going through different kinds of injuries. The team is not even looking fit to be present on the court. Jaxson Hayes went through an ankle injury, and Rui Hachimura and Gabe Vincent also seem to be not fit. Bad news all around for the Lakers fans, and once again, everyone has eyes on LeBron.

NBA Analyst Chris Broussard appreciated Anthony Davis for putting in effort even after injury but also stated that Anthony’s average of playing only 35 games a season is a big concern for the Lakers. He also said that even though LeBron is playing great still, he won’t be able to lead his team to victory alone.
“Are you gonna keep playing LeBron 36 minutes a night? He’s playing great, but he still can’t do it by himself anymore to win games in the West.” Chris said
Chris firmly believes that the Lakers can’t afford players like Anthony Davis missing out on games. It is a logical take, as Anthony has had a history of missing games, but this time, the Lakers need him to play. It will be interesting to see how he recovers and makes a comeback.
