Anthony Joshua v/s Jarrell Miller
Anthony Joshua, popularly known as AJ among his fans, was supposed to fight against Jarrell Miller. The fight though, could not materialize. ‘Big Baby’ tested positive for about three banned substances.
The New York showdown with Ruiz is AJ’s first in the country. Let us find out how much is he going to make with this fight. Here we go:
Anthony Joshua: Total earning
All right! The Olympic gold medallist was supposed to make some £25 million ($31 million) for the fight against Miller. But, since the bout fell, AJ is going to make a little less now. However, this will not affect the bulk of his payday because most of his payout is coming from his DAZN contract.
He is going to make £20 million ($25 million) for sure. His paycheck will increase once pay-per-view is factored in.
His wallet for the second title is going to be even lighter. AJ is going to make just £5 million ($7 million). However, this dwarfs his payday for his disappointing and unsuccessful world title with former WBO champion Joseph Parker. AJ made £790,000 ($1million) here.
“I think I can beat Ruiz. If Wilder is not available, I want Fury. I said I want to meet Wilder, chat to him and the next day he announces a fight with no date or venue attached to it. I still say there is hope but I think the next person I want then is Fury,” said Anthony Joshua in an interview.
