Apple AirTags Features and Applications
AirTags will use Apple’s U1 ultra-wideband chip for finding directions which is also used to locate iPhones when they are lost or misplaced. Apple AirTags are tile shaped trackers that can be attached to any object such as keys, travel bags, boxes and so on. Apple’s Find My App can be used to pinpoint the items to within inches of its actual location by using the tags.

The AirTags will be completely waterproof so they can locate items in rains, near water during swimming or fishing. AirTags can also make sounds to alert users when an object is left behind. Apple AirTags can also be seen in the Augmented Reality (AR) mode when a user is looking at the surroundings while wearing the AR headset.
Apple AirTags Release Date and Price
Apple AirTags are set to release in the second half of 2020 but the dates could be shifted. The recent Coronavirus pandemic has effected major Apple productions and a lot of events are delayed, canceled or turned virtual. Fans of the iPhone company can still expect to get their hands on the AirTags before the year ends. There is no fixed AirTags price and it is only speculated that the Apple trackers can cost $20 to $40 per unit based on the different models.
