Apple iMac is one of the oldest computer manufactured by Apple, which has been changed throughout the years. From a Boxed PC to one of the slimmest desktop, iMac has evolved a lot.
Apple recently upgraded the iMac for the first time since 2017, but it still feels the same. Reports are saying that The Tech Giant will launch a whole new version of iMac Computers. The new iMac is currently referred to as iMac 2019 on the internet.
Recent iMac Updates in 2019
The recently upgraded iMac for earlier 2019 packs more power and hardware storage. The Apple iMac now comes with a 27-inch 5K Retina Display. The color quality seems to be the best among the current all-in-one PCs.
The iMac runs smoothly on the latest Mac OS, having a 6-core Intel i5 Processor. It boasts a Radeon Pro 580X Graphical card with 8GB of GDDR5 memory. As for the price, the 2 TB iMac is priced at $2,299 which has not much changed.
iMac 2019: Possible New Features
One of the major reason a person buys an expensive iMac is because of its rich display. It would be nice if Apple removes hard drive option from the iMac making the screen a lot slimmer. Reports are saying that iMac 2019 could use True Tone display similar to iPad Pro and MacBook Pro.
While the rest of the world has reached up to Intel i9 Processors, Apple has still used the 9th Gen i5 processor. Apple could upgrade to Intel’s Coffee Lake i5 or 17, or use its own processor like in MacBooks.
There have been also some rumors regarding iMac 2019 having a touch-sensitive Display and Face ID System. A Virtual touch bar with fingerprint sensor could also be there.
iMac 2019: Release Date and Price
Since there was no mention of iMac 2019 at Apple’s special event on March 25, 2019, it could be announced later. Reports suggest that the new Apple Computer could be launched at WWDC 2019.
The Price of iMac 2019 will depend on the new features it has, only thing sure is that it will be higher than its predecessors. Stay tuned to Hiptoro for more Apple Updates and other news.
