The latest beta update iOS 12.2 for iPhone/iPad has made it a lot easier for broken Apple devices. Apple iOS 12.2 update now comes with a brand new Warranty Status feature. Apple users can now check the warranty of their devices in the settings menu.
Warranty Status feature in iOS 12.2 update
Apple recently released the iOS 12.2, the sixth beta update to iOS 12. It removed a lot of bugs along with improving previous features. One of the most useful features it added to the iPhone is ‘Warranty Status’ in the settings menu.
The updated settings has now an option called AppleCare+ to check your phone’s warranty. We need to go to Settings > General > About. There will be a new entry in the options names Limited Warranty.
The expiry date of the iPhone’s warranty can be seen in this menu. Along with that, the Coverage button shows the phone’s hardware warranty. We can check whether our phone is eligible for free service and repairs here.

Four new Animal emojis: owl, boar, giraffe, and shark are included for iPhone X and iPad Pro. Screen Time has been added to toggle apps on and off. AirPods 2 are now fully supported.
