Apple is all set to release the new update of its mobile operating system iOS, Apple iOS 13. Cupertino giant has tried to keep the developments a secret but information is already making rounds in the tech community
So we have decided to compile a list of all the rumored features that are coming with this annual update.
Dark Mode
The tech giant is following suit after Google announced unexpected system-wide support for the dark theme in Android Q.
This is a piece of good news for all the night owls out there as Apple is going to roll out system-wide dark mode in iOS 13 update which is going to look really good on iPhones OLED panels.
Apple already pushed this feature to MacOS Mojave.
UI Overhaul
Rumors suggest that users might be looking at major UI revamp of files app, home screen, and Carplay.
Last year CEO of Apple Tim Cook denied the possible merger of mobile and desktop OS.
Cross-Platform Support
Apple inducted a new framework to bring iOS apps to macOS on iOS 12 and many apps like stocks, the memo was ported to macOS.
With iOS 13 update Apple might be working on bringing more cross-platform features to help developers build better apps, that can scale easily on both OS.
iPad Specific Tweak
Apple is said to be working on improving multitasking on iPad and with iOS 13 update it would help view multiple windows using a tab view.
Addition of New Emojis
iOS 13 update will not ship with new emojis but an update down the road is definitely going.
The Unicode Consortium has confirmed the addition of these characters which includes flamingo, juice box, falafel, white heart, ice cube and many more.
On a side note, Macrumors.com is claiming that devices with Apple iOS 13 and Apple IP address have visited the website.
We don’t know if this claim holds any water but if true these devices could be running the alpha builds of the OS.
Release Date

After Apple finishes the beta testing phase, the iOS 13 update would be released on stable channels for the mass public.
