Apple iPhone 12 release date could be delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic which has engulfed the whole world. The production line of Apple is facing massive delays, cancellations and postpones due to the dangers caused by the Covid-19 outbreak.
Though supply chain is improving, the iPhone 12 will still likely be delayed.
Prototyping for iPhone 12 isn’t even done yet. It requires execs from Apple travel to China, and due to travel bans, they haven’t been able to finalize.

It raises a question of whether the launch of the iPhone 12 will also be delayed due to the issues in the supply chain and assembly process. However, the suppliers and distributors are confident that Apple iPhone 12 release won’t be shifted and the premium smartphone will come out this year only.
PCB Suppliers on Apple iPhone 12 Production and Delay
Apple has yet not ordered any of its suppliers to postpone the required products hinting that the Cupertino giant is trying its best not to delay the iPhone 12 release date. The PCB suppliers from Taiwan such as Tripod Technology have confirmed that they are making printed circuit boards required for iPhone 12 which will release in 2020.

There are several problems in other countries due to the Coronavirus pandemic and it could lead to delay in Apple iPhone 12 production if the required parts are not produced on time. There are also rumors that the 5G models of iPhone 12 are delayed till 2021 and even the regular iPhone 12 could be postponed.
