The upcoming iPhone 15 is currently far into the final stages of development. Since Apple develops new models much in advance of their official debut, by the time the iPhone 14 series went on sale, the iPhone 15 would have primarily been set.
As always, there will be a variety of models available, maybe including a brand-new, ultra-premium model in addition to the standard basic model variations and Pro & Pro Max versions. A new chipset, probable adjustments to Dynamic Island’s functionality, and possibly even some design modifications will also be present.
New Apple iPhone 15 could be terrible?
The base model for Apple in 2023 will be the iPhone 15. It will be the least expensive phone available and probably have a 6.1-inch screen in an iPhone 14-like design. From the Pro models, Dynamic Island and perhaps a third sensor in the camera apparatus should filter down to the consumer models. These “new” iPhone models are currently the subject of several online reports, including official patent paperwork and leaks from alleged Apple insiders. Of course, you must proceed cautiously in discussing brand-new, utterly “different” iPhone models.

While the features under discussion might look good on paper, these don’t seem to fit well when assembled into a physical device, and there could be several bugs owing to such offerings. Also, Android OS players like Samsung and Pixel from Google could come up with far-advanced yet foolproof technologies at smaller prices. Thus, the fate of the upcoming iPhone might be in trouble.
Repeated design is another cause of worry
The appearance of Apple’s previous-gen iPhones has mainly stayed stable throughout the past few years, which is a polite way of saying that they all essentially looked the same. If this continues to be the thing in 2023, Apple’s sales could be a cause for worry. Several other players in the market have launched flap and folding phones. Even in the generic smartphone variants, texture, finish, and several different aesthetics are worked upon heavily. In such a scenario, if Apple tries to push forward the same old design, i.e., a new soul in the aging body, it most likely, won’t work. Whatever happens in the future, regardless, would be very interesting to see.
