A popular Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that there will be no major upgrade in iPad Pro 2019. However, the iPad Pro 2020 will see all possible major upgrades in the hardware.
Apple iPad Pro 2019 Specs
The last year’s iPad Pro 2018 used A12X Bionic processor, and we expect iPad Pro 2019 to use A13X processor which will provide minor performance bump.
Interestingly, the iPad Pro 2018 got a double boost in performance when compared to A10X.
The A12 and A12 family of chips will be designed using the 7nm process after which Apple will be switch to 5nm process in late 2020.
However, Apple will use an advanced 7nm process called 7nm+. It utilizes Extreme Ultraviolet lithography to manufacture the chips with improved density and power efficiency.
According to the report by MacWorld, Apple might offer a bump in the storage of the basic model. The highest variant of iPad Pro 2019 is expected to pack 1TB of storage instead of 512GB.
The display sizes of 11 inches and 12.9 inches are expected to remain the same.
Apple iPad Pro 2019 Price
Because there is going to be very little to no upgrade in the hardware, we expect the pricing to remain the same.
The 128 GB variant should be priced at $799; the 512GB will cost $1,149 while the 1TB variant will cost you $1,549.
Apple iPad Pro 2019 Release Date
Even though Apple has not announced the release date of iPad Pro 2019, we expect it to be released in Autumn 2019.
Final Thoughts
