Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom: Plot Hints
While the official plot has not been revealed yet, director James Wan has given some hints at the DC FanDome panel in August 2020. He mentioned that the sequel will be more serious and connect more to the present world. Wan believes that the foundation laid in the first movie will make the storyline of the second one easier for the audience to grasp.
The movie is expected to explore a mysterious city called Necrus, a concept from the comic books. Necrus has the ability to appear and disappear in different locations using advanced technology and magic.
“Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” promises to expand the underwater world of Atlantis and deepen the lore of this iconic DC superhero. With familiar faces returning and James Wan directing, DC fans anticipate a visually stunning and action-packed cinematic experience in theatres this December.
