Throughout their time in Hollywood, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone had a rocky relationship. But soon, their dislike turned into mutual respect, which grew slowly into a friendship that no one saw coming but everyone loved.
Now that their close friend and famous actor Bruce Willis’s health is getting worse as he fights dementia, the famous duo has come together again to help Willis and his family through this hard time.
Old Hollywood Rivals Unite in Times of Need
During their early acting careers, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone have had some tension between each other. Both of them had gone to great lengths to get back at each other, like coming up with revenge schemes against each other and throwing a “giant bowl of flowers”. This made it clear that they didn’t like each other.
But all of that is in the past because the retired professional bodybuilder and the actor who starred in Creed are now great friends. And when they work together to help their close friend and former co-star Bruce Willis when he needs them the most, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Stallone prove once again that there is no stronger bond than friendship.
Willis stopped acting in March 2022 because he had a disorder called aphasia, which made it hard for him to speak and communicate. He was best known for his role as John McClane in the 1988 movie Die Hard. And just last month, the actor’s family said that he has frontotemporal dementia, a condition that causes problems with language and behavior.
Willis’s health is getting worse, which is sad, but his friends and family have come together to be a unifying force by his side. Even his co-stars, like Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former governor of California, and Sylvester Stallone, the star of the Rocky movie series, have shown Willis and his family their support.

An insider said that the two former enemies are now “at the front of the line, offering to do anything they can, 24/7,” along with Jason Statham, another one of the Unbreakable star’s Hollywood peers.
Demi Moore, who used to be married to Bruce Willis, was rumored to have plans to get Willis, who turned 68 recently, together with his daughters and former co-stars to watch all of his old movies and TV shows at his home in Beverly Hills. She hoped that it would bring back memories for the actor.
The family hopes that reliving the various experiences he had with his co-stars will keep Bruce’s memory as sharp and stimulated as possible,
the insider remarked.
It may be a Hail Mary pass, but at this stage, they’re willing to try anything to keep Bruce’s memory intact for as long as they can.
In The Expendables, which Stallone also directed, he worked with Willis and Statham. And then Stallone, who is 76, worked with Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger on the sequel, which was directed by Simon West.
Willis should hopefully feel better and more comfortable with his friends and family around him.
