Ever since the news broke out that Emily Bett is leaving Arrow season 7, rumors have been circulating about who will be replacing her as Felicity Smoak in the final season of the show. Fans have also been wondering whether there will be a replacement at all, or will the show writers simply write off the character.

Recent reports have suggested that the latter might be true. The show writers are planning to write an ambiguous exit for Felicity Smoak’s character in season 7 episode 21, resulting in her disappearing from the upcoming episodes as well as the final season of Arrow.
Will Felicity be written off in Arrow season 7?
Synopsis Arrow season 7 episode 21 titled ‘Living Proof’ has been released recently. It read:
‘OLIVER IS PUT TO THE TEST — Oliver (Stephen Amell) finds himself in a precarious position. SCPD shows up with a warrant for Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards). Gordon Verheul directed the episode written by Oscar Balderrama & Sarah Tarkoff ‘.
As the synopsis for Arrow season 7 episode 21 states, the SCPD is out to get Felicity Smoak, and they even have a warrant for it. This could be a way a for show writers to make the character disappear or even write her off of the plot line.
Oliver in trouble
Additionally, it appears that Oliver has gotten himself in trouble once again, and it will be interesting to note how he gets out of the situation now.
There haven’t been any official announcements, and the synopsis doesn’t offer too many details, so we can only speculate about the fate of Felicity in the upcoming episodes of Arrow.
