Emily Bett, playing the role of Felicity Smoak in Arrow Season 7, has reportedly said her goodbyes to the cast and crew of the show. She reportedly left Arrow in the second last episode of the seventh instalment.
CW would love to have Felicity Smoak back
Mark Pedowitz is keen on not closing the doors for Felicity Smoak aka Emily Bett Rickards. He reportedly said that her character could be a guest on the show as long as showrunners find a way.
In an interview with TV Line, Mark Pedowitz said that the CW “would love to have” Emily Bett back on the show.
In the third instalment of Arrow, Emily Bett’s character Felicity was introduced by Oliver Queen. She was seen as an IT expert working for the billionaire, Oliver Queen and eventually marrying him.
The final episode featuring Emily ended on an emotional note for her. It closed with a flash-forward scene picturing Felicity Smoak as an older person.
Arrow season 8 “Crisis on Infinite Earths”
The CW has reportedly renewed Arrow season 8 in April 2018. The release is hoped in the 2019-2020 slate.
The latest instalment of Arrow is expected to deliver “Crisis of Infinite Earths” crossover with The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow.

Season 8 is expected to retain its Wednesday night slow. It will feature stars like David Ramsey, Rick Ramirez, Katie Cassidy, Echo Kellum, Calton Haynes, and Juliana Harkavy.
There is no announcement reported by The CW regarding the official release of Arrow season 8. However, the premier is assumed to happen in late September or early October.
