ONE middleweight World Champion Aung La N Sang continued his indomitable form with a first-round demolition of undefeated contender Mohammad Karaki.
The local hero dominated and knocked out the Lebanese challenger midway into the first round retaining his ONE Middleweight World Title. Aung La Sang has maintained his unbeaten record in his native Myanmar.
The match started with Karaki looking to secure a takedown but well prepared Sang foiled his attempts. Sang attacked relentlessly with a pair of uppercuts and delivering punches as Karaki fell to the ground. An early finish looked to be on the cards but opponent Karaki managed to get himself back up.
Gathering himself, Karaki tried to deliver a desperate takedown attempt but was stuffed by Sang. Sang then delivered a powerful left hand and dropped him to ground with a stiff right hand. Sang followed him to the ground and continued his vicious punches. Referee Olivier Coste was forced to stop the bout in the third minute and give Sang a dominant TKO victory.

The win takes Aung Sang’s career stats to an impressive 24-10 and extends his winning streak to five. Since capturing his middleweight title in July 2017 from Vitaly Bigdash, Sang has got better and better with every performance. There are no visible signs that Aung Snag is going to let his title belt go in the near future.
