Self-driving cars and other autonomous vehicles are expected to bring a lot of major advantages which includes safer highways, smarter cities and better ergonomics.
However, one interesting study by some U.K. researchers revealed that autonomous cars will have the risk of more sex, as there will be no need to control the steering.
The tests have already begun and automobile players like Waymo (Alphabet’s self-driving cars), Lyft and Uber have been doing it for a while. There were a few accidents in the beginning, but regular iterations have made it much better. The researchers estimate that these self-driving vehicles will lower down the risk of road accidents by 90%.
