Avatar 2 Release Date and Working Title
The working title of the second movie in the Avatar franchise is ‘Coral’. This is most likely a reference to the Metkayina, which is expected to play a big part in the upcoming sequels. Based on what we’ve learned so far, the principal photography and performance capturing for Avatar 2 as well as Avatar 3 are done and live-action filming will begin later this year.
For now, the tentative release date is December 17, 2021. However, this date can shift a little based on how the live-action shoot goes. Cameron has all the release dates of all the sequels planned out until 2027!
