Avengers Endgame will put an end to the 22 film saga as it is approaching the release date and fans cannot wait anymore. In addition to the already hyped up expectations, Marvel keeps teasing us with new trailers and teasers.
Captain Marvel’s absence explained
The new reveal was released in a teaser that dropped last week. It features Bruce Banner, Thor, Steve Rogers, The Black Widow, James Rhodes and Captain Marvel. Iron Man is curiously missing from the teaser, and our heroes seem to be deep in thought deciding what to do next.
It also offers an explanation for why Captain Marvel did not stop Thanos earlier.
Avengers Endgame: Promotional material
Different parts of the scene have been seen in other trailers. It also appears that the scene is from the first half of the film.
The Endgame makers have previously said that any promotional material will only be released from the first 20 minutes of the film.
Director Joe Russo said about the film,
“I think Thanos feels ultimately half of the living creatures would use less resources. His hope would be that they would learn a lesson about resource use. And as they move forward in time, they would have a different experience about how they abused resources before. He felt like he was teaching them a lesson. That the pain of losing would remind them, moving forward, that they need to be more mindful.”
Avengers Endgame will be the biggest and longest film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with a runtime of nearly three hours. The film is set to release on 26th April.
