Early Life
Ayo Edebiri hails from Boston and grew up in a devout Pentecostal family. Her mother migrated from Barbados and her father from Nigeria. Her fascination with comedy began in her eighth-grade drama class and she subsequently joined the improv club at Boston Latin School.
