The world is currently recovering from the horrific Turkey-Syria earthquakes that have left thousands dead. Moreover, it has led to some serious infrastructure damage with numerous buildings collapsing. In this ruckus, a miracle happened. A baby who was just born recovered from the rumble while she was still attached to her dead mother’s umbilical cord. Moreover, the mother went into labor after the earthquake hit her area.
The building where the mother was one of about 50 reportedly destroyed by a 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Jindayris. It’s an opposition-held town in Idlib province that is close to the Turkish border. Tragically, there were too many casualties. The bodies of the baby’s parents and their four siblings, including an aunt, were laid out in a neighbor’s home for the funeral.
