Janice Wolf went to a local auction where he came across Moonpie the mini cow and absolutely adorable baby. He took her to the Rocky Ridge Refuge, that he also runs. The unique thing about Moonpie’s story is that she was very little when she was rescued. And so, Wolf took care of her inside his house where she was souronded by dogs. And this resulted in her behaving and feeling like one of them.
“Babies like that — they don’t know a whole lot about what it’s supposed to be, so they kind of just accept things,” Wolf said. It appears Moonpie has a special bond with one particular dog named Spackle, a white bull terrier that took her in as soon as she got to the refuge.
