Banksy, the graffiti artist who is world famous, confirmed that his latest artistic creation is on garbage’s side in Port Talbot.
The artwork covers two walls and appeared in Richmond Terrace on the side of domestic garbage. It consists of a picture of a huge commercial bin made of metal and flames are coming out of from one side and on the other wall, there is a boy standing in a snow fall which is snow in reality, but the ashes from the fire.
The art work is totally surreal. The images of the art work spread instantly on the social media sparking wild speculation among the admirers leaving them to wonder if it’s a Banksy.
It was only confirmed after Banksy posted some images and video of his artwork on his Instagram page and website. This was Banksy’s 100th post, so it had to be special. The video first shows the artist’s artwork before the camera lifts up to look at the steelworks at its top in the distance.
Banksy is an anonymous artist based in England and he is particularly known for his subversive and satirical work on the walls all around the country. People are getting attracted to the amazing image which was formed using spray paint in Port Talbot and has been an attraction of many people from South Wales.
Ian Lewis, the fifty five years old garage owner, was completely bewildered that how his nondescript building, which he has built himself around twenty years back, has become a topic of discussion overnight. He said,
I saw the image first on Facebook on Tuesday morning, and thought that looks a bit like my garage. I showed it to my son and he agreed, so I went out and had a look and there it was.
