Popular Venezuelan professional baseball infielders Luis Valbuena and Jose Castillo were killed in an unfortunate car crash on Thursday. The authorities who were in-charge of the case feel that their car might have crashed due to an intended robbery attack.
Generally, robbers throw rocks on the vehicle or the road to halt the vehicle and steal from them. Furthermore, four people were arrested due to suspicion on basis of possessing the victim’s belongings that were stolen from the car, said Yaracuy governor.
Valbuena (33), who played for Angels in the previous season and Castillo (37), who played five seasons were accompanied by their teammate, Carlos Rivero’s chauffeur who fortunately survived the crash after the car went off the road to prevent hitting a rock.
On Friday morning, the Major League Baseball organisation said were absolutely devastated by the news of the untimely death of their infielders Valbuena and Castillo.
