The Batman movie still has a lot of loose ends that need to be taken care of. Matt Reeve’s superhero movie was very successful, and there is a possibility for its sequel. Fans saw the caped crusader face The Riddler in the DC movie. But there are many more left to battle.

Even though there is no news about the narrative of The Batman 2, fans can expect the next Batman movie will focus on an Arkham inmate. Nobody knows the identity of the character who appeared at the end of The Batman movie. But we can assume that he would certainly appear in The Batman 2.
Everyone loves Joker, and no Batman movie is complete without him. So it makes sense that Joker will return in the future. Pattinson talked about adapting Death in the Family for the plot of The Batman 2. Two other plot lines could be adopted: The Court of Owls and Bane.

There is no doubt that Robert Pattinson will reprise his role as Batman. Alfred (Andy Serkis) and Jim Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) would also return as this Bruce won’t effectively function without them.
Michael Giacchino has promised Matt Reeves that he will return to compose for ‘The Batman 2’.

Fans also expect that The Penguin might reappear in the future as Colin Farrell had plans to explore the character more. Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman might not reappear as she was leaving for Bludhaven when we saw her the last time. But she would be there if Batman needed her in the future.
