Following her epic encounter with WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair in a winner-take-all match, Becky Lynch became the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion. The next big feud for ‘The Man’ now is that with Lacey Evans. Seeds for Becky Lynch vs Lacey Evans were sown at Raw after WrestleMania 35.
Becky Lynch vs Lacey Evans rivalry continued into WWE SmackDown after WrestleMania 35 as well. Here’s a closer look:
Becky Lynch vs Lacey Evans: Becky’s Next Opponent
Lacey Evans, ever since her debut, has just been walking down and up the ramp, doing pretty much nothing. However, she attacked Becky Lynch on Raw – and followed up her attack on SmackDown as well. This means that Becky and Lacey are all set to be in a match which is likely to culminate at their upcoming Backlash event.
There are also rumours that women might be allowed to compete at the WWE Saudi Arabia tour in May 2019. If that happens, this match is likely to take place in Saudi Arabia. It is likely that Charlotte will interfere in this match and cause a DQ.
Will Becky Lynch Unify the WWE Raw and Smackdown Women’s Championship?
Now that Becky Lynch is both, the RAW Women’s Champion and the SmackDown Women’s Champion, will she be unifying the belts? That appears quite unlikely because SmackDown is soon moving to Fox.
If the unified title moves to SmackDown, RAW would be left with nothing for the women. Hence, it is unlikely that these titles will be unified in or after the Becky Lynch vs Lacey Evans feud.
