If you haven’t heard so far, there is a real death match going down in the Texas’s political world. Beto O’Rourke, the Democratic candidate, is vying for the Senate seat of Republican Ted Cruz.
When it comes to politics, Texas is as red as either a devil’s rain or a crimson highway. But, Beto’s political campaign is anti-establishment and is completely hopeful. His do-it-yourself approach is more like a common punk tour than that of a stakes Senate seat.
One thing that is more surprising is that no is familiar with the senate’s candidate Beto. He grew up skateboarding and was also playing in punk band Foss. This came into the limelight of the country only when a supporter of Beto handed him a Penny Board six weeks ago.
Also, a video of Beto carving around a “Whataburger” parking lot grabbed the attention of the public and went viral on the Internet.
Beto is articulate both in English as well as in Spanish and well-known for his thoughtful attitude. He possesses an agile intellect and an abiding integrity. An important fact is that without any political influence, he recently raised a fund of 40-million dollars.
When asked about the history of skating and punk scene, Beto said that “both skating and punk rock is DIY. No one would define a rule for it or set a limit or opportunities for achieving in those two.” One has to come with their own stuff and definition.
On completing the interview, Beto put his front foot on the skateboard, pushed twice and started cruising right past Kennedy. Despite the crowd, Beto did not fall from his skateboard and was looking cool, calm, and composed. And as usual, he looks young and excited in his attire.
