Instead of new episodes, the fans can watch the previous episodes of the shows. The reruns of “The VCR Illumination” from The Big Bang Theory, while “A Research Study and Czechoslovakian Wedding Pastries” from Young Sheldon will be aired. Fans are a little frustrated due to the delay.
It is quite unusual of the show to act this way. Being a rating juggernaut for CBS, the show has hardly missed a week during times like these. People already know that this is the finale season of the show. So they are a little impatient when it comes to the future of their favorite actors.
As Young Sheldon and The Big Bang Theory are connected, their air time also mirror one another. The principle of the sweep period is also applicable here. The two shows are likely to conclude in May as the taping day is scheduled on 30 April.
