People can’t stop talking about it including Missy Elliot and Chrissy Teigen and the streaming service has finally confirmed the news on Twitter. Around 45,037,125 accounts have already pressed play since the day the apocalyptic horror movie is released.
As per the company, Sandra Bullock starrer has clinched the record for the best first 7 days ever for a Netflix movie. It is easy to track the box office results of the theatrical release, but Netflix is still not ready to reveal the viewership data till the time data makes history.
The movie has got mixed reviews with 65% approval ratings, but the Netflix subscribers are happy about it. In the movie, Bullock’s character is seen struggling to live in a world which is full of mysterious monsters that are driving people to commit suicide when they see them. Bullock tries to escape to a possible sanctuary with two small children.
The movie has been declared as the scariest movie of the year by Reese Witherspoon.
