Black Widow, Scarlett Johansson’s standalone MCU movie, release was a little doubtful considering that the character was killed off in Avengers: Endgame.
Avengers: Endgame was released last week and the movie grossed 1 billion dollars in its opening weekend. Although we saw the death of several fan favorites, we are delighted to know that Marvel has several movies upcoming in the next few years.

One of them is Scarlett Johansson’s standalone movie Black Widow. Johansson started playing Natalia Alianovna Romanova back in 2010 in the second Iron Man movie, and since then she has been a regular part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Black Widow: Filming starts soon
Black Widow movie is set to start shooting in London this summer and fans can expect the premiere/release date as soon as production is finished. Marvel and Disney are tight-lipped about the plot of Black Widow. Along with any other details such as when exactly can fans expect to see the movie in theatres.
Before the announcement of the movie, Johansson had said in an interview that she has a better understanding of the character than ever before. She also stated that she is not especially worried because everything happens when it’s supposed to.
No clear plotline
With no clear plotline revealed, fans have been speculating about the story of the film for a while now. Rumors have stated that the back story of Natalia will be revealed. Along with how she trained to be an excellent spy and assassin at the KGB. Fans will certainly have a better understanding of the character after the film.
Besides Scarlett Johansson, we can also expect to see other actors in the film including Rachel Weisz, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, and OT Fagbenle.
