The Portland Trail Blazers star guard Damian Lillard can still fulfill his desire to play for the Miami Heat in the upcoming season. The player requested a trade to the Heat on the first day of the NBA transfer window, but even after nearly 3 months, the trade is yet to happen. The Blazers wanted too much in return for their star, and the offer made by the Heat was declined. The rumors are that they have started listening to offers from other teams as well.
The player has said that he would not show up for the training if he is traded to any other team than the Heat. Now, last season’s finalists are trying their best to land the 33-year-old point guard. Can they make it happen? Here are 3 ways in which Damian Lillard can land in Miami this offseason.
Damian Lillard to the Heat involving the Rockets and the Jazz
This deal would make the Blazers’ #0 a part of the Heat’s roster. The Jazz would get Tyler Herro, while the Rockets would sign Duncan Robinson. Finally, the Blazers would land Kevin Porter, Kelly Olynyk, Talen Horton Tucker, one first-round pick each from the years 2025,2027, and 2029, and two second-round picks from 2024.
Damian Lillard speaks in his trade request:
"It's a way that you have to go about things where you can't be an idiot… You don't want the same thing no more and you show me that you don't want the same thing. We don't want the same thing."

Damian Lillard to the Heat involving the Nets
The Heat would get their summer target Damian in this trade while the Nets would land Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson. The Blazers would get Ben Simmons and one first-round pick each from the years 2025,2027 and 2029. The deal might not delight the Blazers due to less return value.
"The Blazers have been talking to several teams… I'm kind of hearing rumors about another Eastern Conference team that I'm not gonna throw out there just yet."

Damian Lillard to the Heat involving the Hornets
The Hornets would sign Tyler Herro in this deal, and the Heat would receive Damian Lillard. The Blazers would get Gordon Hayward, Duncan Robinson, and one first-round pick each from the years 2025, 2027, and 2029.
The Blazers are getting their desired return value of four players and four draft picks in the first deal only, and they would prefer to make that happen as well. Will the Heat be able to pull off any of the trades? Will the Blazers trade Damian to some other team? We’ll keep you updated.
