Bleach TYBW Part 2 is confirmed to be released in July 2023. Viz Media recently shared an exclusive interview with the illustrator and writer of the manga Tite Kubo and Masakazu Morita, the voice actor of Ichigo, with fans.
Bleach: Thousand Year Blood-War(tybw) has last been premiered in October 2022. Since then there was no news of the next arc unit recently Shiro Sagisu, music producer and composer for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, shared that Bleach TYBW Part 2 is in the works and will premiere officially in July 2022. He shared that he has been working very hard for the comeback of Bleach TYBW Part 2.
In the interview shared by Viz Media, the mangaka revealed that the anime series will take a deviation from the original manga and will include a lot of scenes that are not there in the manga.
Let’s check out what new scenes are going to be included in Bleach TYBW Part 2.
Bleach TYBW Part 2: New Scenes will be included in the Anime series
Bleach TYBW Part 2 will cover the second part of the arc named “The Separation”. Tite Kubo shared that the anime series will have a special fight sequence that is not present in the original manga.
The anime production crew was keen to include the fight between “two specific characters” in the anime. To demonstrate how the characters should move and engage in combat in the anime, the creator gave them five or six pages of illustrations.
In the interview, Kubo also shared that the fights in the Bleach TYBW Part 2 arc in the manga wasn’t fully developed since he didn’t want the serialization to go more than 15 years; nonetheless, he intends to do so in the upcoming anime. As of now, he has been significantly involved in the creation, urging the crew to aim for a more contemporary style with the coloring and aesthetics of this rendition.
“In Part 2, there is a new battle that isn’t in the original manga. I wasn’t able to draw a battle between two certain characters. So when the anime production team said, “We want this character to fight around this time,” I decided to revisit that idea by providing them with some drawings and names of the characters.” Tite Kubo revealed this in the interview.
Fans on Reddit have different assumptions as to why Kube did not include the fight scenes in the original manga. Some say he was sick and he was forced to wrap it up quickly. Some said, he wanted to quit, but few fans sent him long letters and motivated him.
User u/South25 commented in the community,
Pretty sure he was sick during the ending part of the manga.
While a user named u/Iyashii confirmed,
He was sick a lot during the Shonen Jump days from what I recall. Lot of hospital visits trying to push out weekly chapters and whatnot.
User u/KeyBlueRed recalled that it was the fans who requested him to continue with his journey with the manga.
Yeah, I vaguely recall some interview where he said something about wanting to quit but someone sent him a nice letter that motivated him to continue/finish.
